16. Body parts in Italian
Like any other language, it’s important to know a couple words in Italian that can help you talk about your body

| il naso | the nose |
| la bocca | the mouth |
| i denti | the teeth |
| le orecchie | the ears |
| il collo | the neck |

| il braccio | the arms |
| la mano | the hand |
| le dita | the fingers |
| il petto | the chest |
| la schiena | the back |
| la gamba | the leg |
| il piede | the foot |
| il cuore | the heart |
| lo stomaco | the stomach |
There are a few words in that have irregular plural:
- il braccio -> le braccia
- il dito -> le dita
- l’orecchio -> leorecchie
Here are a few examples in phrases:
- Mi fa male di test (my head is hurting)
- Ho gli occhi stanchi (my shoulders are tired)
- Lei ha i capelli lunghi (she has long hair)
